Soluciones Reunidas acquires Mecanotubo-Andamios

To grow up acquiring new companies to fulfill the consolidation of the internationalization project. This is the goal of the strategic plan of Soluciones Reunidas, which aims to duplicate sales in only 5 years. “This sector has huge customers and few movements, and so the organic growth is very slow. In order to grow quickly, we have to acquire companies that contribute to diversify our portfolio of services”, explains Óscar Ferreon, company’s CEO. The excellent financial health of the company is the warranty for this ambitious expansion plan, so new acquisitions are foreseen.

With the acquisition of the scaffolding unit of Mecanotubo, Soluciones Reunidas gets the contract to the Sagrada Familia, which means the set up and maintenance of the scaffolding of the temple until the end of its building (between 2016 and 2028). This big project requires the movement of more than 170 tons of scaffolding material each year, a number to decrease from now to the end of the building of the towers thought by Antonio Gaudi.

 

This way, Soluciones Reunidas increases its specializations to the naval and industrial sectors, developed through three companies: Depisa, Asturblast and Siasa. The new scaffolding division offers new possibilities for the clients. The company will change the commercial name to Mekanotub Scaffolding Solutions maintaining the quality service of the group, due to the level of exigency from the highly specialized staff. Evidence of this is the ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications achieved by the company.
