Fireproofing
Fireproofing, Passive Fire Protection
Preventive Fireproofing
Fireproofing, or passive fire protection, involves the use of coatings applied to structural elements to preserve their functional integrity for a specific period. This protection safeguards personnel and infrastructure from the effects of fire or an explosion. Additionally, these coatings offer protection against corrosion.
Types of Fireproofing
At ALTTION, we have the necessary equipment and specialized technicians for:
Conventional Intumescent Coatings
Passive protection against the spread of conventional fires (cellulosic fires). Especially suitable for metal structures in industrial and building applications.
Intumescent Epoxies
Appropriate technology for protecting steel, aluminium, and other substrates from the effects of hydrocarbon fires. Recommended for petroleum installations, gas facilities, and petrochemical plants.
Sublimating Systems
Effective in preventing the spread of extreme fire in cables and electrical conduits.
Fireproof Mortars
Coatings made of cement, gypsum, rock wool, perlite, etc., designed to maintain load-bearing capacity, integrity, and thermal insulation of construction elements while providing fire protection.
Fibrosilicate Panels
Panels based on rigid boards composed of calcium silicates reinforced with fire-resistant fibres.
