An essential barrier for protecting personnel and installations
Passive fire and heat protection involves using coating applied to structural elements to preserve the functional integrity for a specific period of time and to protect staff and the plant from the effects of the fire or an explosion. In addition to protection from fire and heat, this coating guarantees protection against corrosion.
Types of protection:
Conventional intumescent coatings
Passive protection against the spreading of conventional (cellulosic) fire. Specially indicated for protection of metal structures in industry and building.
Intumescent epoxy
Technology suitable for protecting steel, aluminium and other substrates from the effects of hydrocarbon fires.
Particularly indicated for oil and gas installations and petrochemicals plants.
Sublimation systems
Particularly effective for preventing the spread of extreme fire in electrical wiring and busbars.
Flame retardant mortars
Cement, plaster, rock wool, perlite, etc. coatings designed to maintain bearing capacity, integrity, thermal insulation for construction elements along with fire protection.
Fibrosilicate panels
Rigid plate-based panels made of calcium silicate reinforced with fire-resistant fibres.
